Keeping Feeders Full
TX Texas Deer Hunting Hunters Paradise Axis Exotics Hill Country Ranch
At the Ranch
Pretty Boy!

Our beautiful ranch is located in northern Uvalde County and has abundant game. It consists of around 3,000 acres and has been in the family since 1938. Our hunting campsite has approximately 10+ RV hookups, a covered, lighted concrete slab cleaning station, water and electricity. Hunters are required to have their own stands and feeders for feeding program, protein fed from February to September and corn-feeding year-round.

For the last 10 years we have been actively game managing our deer population. The ranch has worked closely with our TP&W game biologist who says we have South-Texas quality deer. We have been blessed with other seasoned well experienced game managing hunters. We take pride in our deer herd and have long-standing good genetics on the property as exhibited by our website game pictures and harvested bucks. The ranch is high-fenced on the north but low fenced on the rest of the property. On three sides we adjoin large acreage long-term neighbors on non-hunting, or light hunting by family, ranches. A live creek runs through the northern part of the ranch. There is a variety of exotics on the ranch but we are not overrun with them. We have hogs on the ranch and try to keep them in check using a helicopter shooting service. Nearby recreational spots are in our area, with the Nueces River about 1000 yards from the camp area.

Prospective hunters must be mature, able to age and score deer on the hoof and tell the difference between a 3-yr old buck and a 5-yr old buck. We require credible references with preference to a group of hunters that have a hunting history with references. The size of the group and pricing will vary depending on the specifics of the interested group.
